Can I work with you if I don't live in Germany?

Absolutely! One of the best parts of my business is the ability to work with anyone, regardless of location. I would love to meet you on a virtual coffee date!

What currency are your prices and how does payment work?

All prices are in EUR.  Payments are made through Stripe, which supports all types of credit and debit cards, SEPA direct debit and more. You will be provided with a payment link and invoice.

Can the time frame of the packages be prolonged?

All packages take around 2-3 weeks (exception: the branding + web design package takes 3-4 weeks) be ready. Though, this is an estimate and depends on your availability to communicate throughout the process and review the versions as soon as they are provided to you. My tip would be to try not to schedule your projects around a particularly busy time in the year for your business, if you can. That way you’ll know you’ll have better availability and it will be a smoother process!

What if I don't like what you have created for me?

The packages come with up to three revision stages. This is the perfect opportunity to adjust the versions so that we end up with something that exceeds your expectations. Giving me as much information as possible at the beginning of the project (including information and examples of what you do and don’t like) will give me a more precise feel for what you are looking for. If you are not absolutely in love by the end of the project, let’s talk about it! We’ll work together to make it right.

What is a creative brief?

A creative brief is a document which has to be filled out by you so I can better understand the overall strategy and goals for the project.

What is a mood board?

A mood board is a digital collage of images and pieces that catch your eye. The goal of the mood board is to have a creative foundation and inspiration for the project.

I am not ready to get started right now but can I reserve a spot?

Sure! Book a consultation and if we decide on working together in the near future, you can sign the work agreement and pay a 30% deposit to reserve your spot.

Do you handle printing too?

I do not handle printing unless specifically requested by you. In this case, I will provide a separate bill that must be paid in full upfront to handle your print order. My preferred print vendor is Moo.com.

What software do you use?

For the most part I use Adobe products - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Lightroom. I also use Keynote, Canva, and Google Suite, as well as Microsoft Office.

What file formats do you provide?

PDF, PNG, JPEG, SVG, EPS, TIFF, GIF, DOCX, PPT, KEY, PSD, INDD, AI. Any special files can be requested as well.

Which platform do you use for building websites?

I’m using Squarespace because it is a great “all-in-one” platform for your website, e-commerce store, and blog

Is Squarespace the right platform for me and my business?

Definitely! Squarespace works great for most entrepreneurs and small to medium sized businesses.

Are there any other additional costs?

Squarespace fees and domain cost are not included. The Squarespace theme costs (11-17 EUR per month). This includes your hosting, security, tech support, and unlimited storage. You’re paying for the convenience of an all-in-one system that is super intuitive and easy to manage. In addition, copyrights and photography are not included in the fee. We'll always talk about those costs before they occur. So, you'll always be in the loop. No surprises!

Can I keep my current domain?

Surely, I will connect it for you!

How do I get photos for my website?

My recommendation is to hire a photographer. In this way, you will make sure that your website photos will truly represent your brand. If this is not a possible option for you, we will make sure to select the best stock images for your website.

Do you provide guidelines on what should be included in my website?

Yes! We’ll decide the main goal of your website during one of our calls and I’ll provide you with recommendations based on that.

I have never used Squarespace before, can you help me?

You will receive a 30-min training session so I can show you the basics on how to make changes and add new items to your site. I will also be available for two weeks post-launch via email support for any questions you might have.

How do we communicate during the project?

I offer complimentary 30-minute phone or video consultations during the project. My preferred project management and communication system is Asana (it is free), in which I create a special board just for you and me.

How much time will this take me?

Your contribution happens before our actual start date. You can probably set aside half a day to get everything ready. Also, you would need to be available to give feedback throughout the whole process.

What is your payment plan?

Once we have our discovery call and have decided to work together, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining 50% will be required when the final files are approved and the project is completed.

Are there any other additional costs?

Any products and/or services, which are not part of the branding package and/or require additional license fees and/or were not agreed before starting the project will be billed additionally.

Why do you ask clients to sign a contract?

Having a contract is a healthy business practice that helps our relationship to remain smooth and free of misunderstandings. Technically, it would serve as a “binding agreement,” and is simply an opportunity to get us on the same page.
