Motivations
Sleeve School opens where patients start: what the procedure is and how to think about it. The edit stays calm and clinical, matched to the weight of the decision, so a prospective patient can take the information in at their own pace.
The Sleeve Clinic is a bariatric weight-loss surgery practice in the Toronto area, led by Dr. Scott Gmora. Its patients want to understand the procedure before they commit, so clear, calm education is part of the care.
Bariatric surgery is a major decision, and prospective patients arrive with questions that a consultation alone cannot fully answer. The clinic wanted education it could point people to, and stories from patients who had already been through it.
We hold every video to a standard our clients can put their name on.
C&E produced a five-part 'Sleeve School' series that walks through the procedure step by step for the clinic's YouTube and social channels, patient testimonial videos, and a talking-head piece that speaks to the emotional side of the decision. The tone stays calm and clinical, matched to the subject.
Below, one video from each of the two formats.

Patients who have been through the procedure tell it plainly. We edit their stories with restraint, no music swells and no pushing, so someone weighing the same decision can simply listen.
The Sleeve School series and the patient videos give the clinic a library it can share with anyone weighing the procedure, on YouTube and across its social channels.
Our team over here is always very excited to see the awesome videos you make.
